Rosbank’s IFRS net profit falls by 75% to 4.9 bln rbl in 2022
MOSCOW, Mar 21 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Rosbank, the Russian subsidiary of France’s Societe Generale, contracted by 75% on the year to 4.9 billion rubles in 2022, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank said in a statement on Tuesday.
"In spite of external challenges, a tough operating environment and significant reserves we made, the group remained profitable in 2022, although the after-tax profit was lower to a certain extent than in 2020 and 2021," the statement read.
The net interest income rose by 14%, while the operating income reached record 84 billion rubles, the bank said.
